:lol Tonight I added a link to the first post in this thread that tells you just about everything you can ever want to know about Aloe Vera.

  4. Aloe Vera is always very good for skin. I didnt had much luck with it because aloe has salycilates derivatives (Im allergic to aspirin) but I can tell you I had a friend with bad acne that you could tell by the scars he had and he told me he was cured with aloe vera topically raw from the plant itself.

  5. Mari,
πŸ˜€ You should get yourself an aloe plant. I am getting one as soon as they are in garden shops again. I had a very nice plant several years ago, and I used to pick the thick leaves, and break them, and let the juice drip on burns I got from cooking. I never had a burn leave a scar! I did use it for my acne but not as religiously as I used it for burns. I should have used it more on my face than I did. I guess aloe is good for all skin problems not just burns. I always kept this plant on the outside step leading to my patio, and I lost it a couple of winters ago when we had several bad frosts.

Right now I am using an MSM moisture cream made by Ultra Botanicals that has aloe in it as a trans dermal carrier. The aloe carries the liposomes and the MSM to the dermis to heal the skin. I really like this product, and use it on my legs and arms to combat winter dryness. I also use it on my face and it leaves my skin feeling soothed. There are no AHAs in this product, and if you are not allergic to any of the ingredients then you could probably use it even now while you recover from Accutane. The price is close to $20 for a 4-ounce jar in the store. I have bought my second jar in the store, and now I am thinking of trying to find it on the web because my experience has been that products are cheaper bought on the web.
The ingredients are: Deionized Water, MSM, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, (I believe this comes from coconut?), Sorbitol, Shea Butter, Glyceryl Stearate, Rose Hip Seed Oil Hypericum Extract, Calendula Extract, Matricaria Extract, Orange Flower Extract, Kelp Extract, Ginkgo Bloba Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Algae Extract, Locust Bean Gum, Tocopheryl Linoleate, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Allantoin, Lecithin, Tocopherol Acetate (vitamin E in liposome form) Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A in liposome form), Ascorbic Acid, (Vitamin C in liposome form), Arnia (Indian Gooseberry), Grapefruit Seed Extract, Essential Oils.

  7. :angel I am using this angel to bump this thread because I added an interesting herb link to South American herbs in the top post, many of these herbs are used to detox and treat acne. They are ordered from a company located in London, England, and you can call the order in if you prefer this method.

Also, Mari, check out the list of ingredients for Ultra Botanicals in a post from me that is before this one.

POPCORN, you are welcome. Take care.
