Almay’s Pure Blend liquid foundation

I bought some of Almay’s Pure Blend liquid foundation at CVS in the color ivory. It’s nice, although it doesn’t have a lot of coverage. I use the Devita concealor underneath it over the scars/spots. I did come up with a couple of little bumps though, which seem to be going away already, but it could be because I haven’t been using the Devita cocoa masque as often as I’m supposed to and I skipped washing my face a couple of mornings when I was hanging out at home. Also, they didn’t have any testers there. You have to go by these little color dots on the tubes. Looking at their website, I might actually be closer to the color "buff", hard to tell. It’s quite expensive for a small size of foundation but it is 97% natural. I don’t see anywhere where it says "non-comedogenic" though. It’s on sale right now at . Here’s the ingredients list:

Water (Aqua), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba), Squalane, Glycerin, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond), Euterpe Oleracea Sterols (Acai), Sucrose Laurate, Cetyl Alcohol, Cellulose Stearic Acid, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract (Acai), Citrus Junos Peel Extract (Yuzu), Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract (Lotus), Cymbidium Grandiflorum Flower Extract (Orchid), Viola Tricolor Extract (Wild Pansy), Carica Papaya Fruit Extract (Papaya), Phospholipids, Aniba Rosaeodora Wood Oil (Rosewood), Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa Seed Oil (Carrot), Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Stearate, Alcohol, Silica, Sodium Borate, Caprylyl Glycol, 1, 2 Hexanediol, May Contain (+/-): Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499)

  1. I started getting some breakouts — not big, but still a few cropped up, so I’m going to return it. I’m going to go to a store that sells the Mychelle make-ups and try them out.
