My Mom says putting cocoa butter on acne scars will smooth them away and make them less noticeable?
Also I’ve heard using mud masks will soften em up.
What works! I don’t have acne anymore just the embarrassing scars.
And my skin, the skin where acne was recently, is not smooth. It’s all…textured.
[[I’m new to the forum so if Im in the wrong place please tell me and don’t get mad!]]
I used the Mederma skin care for scars cream after my shoulder surgery and then later on some acne scars.
It works slowly but it did help them fade a bit.
when i waas younger i picked my acne and now i have scars. are there and inexpensive ways to make them less noticable???
Scars (also called cicatrices) are areas of fibrous tissue that replace normal skin (or other tissue) after injury. A scar results from the biologic process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. Thus, scarring is a natural part of the healing process. With the exception of very minor lesions, every wound (e.g. after accident, disease, or surgery) results in some degree of scarring.
Mederma is a greaseless, pleasant-smelling, topical gel that’s formulated to improve the appearance and feel of just about any kind of scar. Whether you have stretch marks from a pregnancy or a scar from surgery, Mederma can help make your scar appear softer and smoother.
