  2. Hi Kat
Hmm tough one. It’s a title of a song actually, by Balasevic, in serbo-croatian langauge.
It’s hard to translate. Something like: Many things are born (not literally) in muddy water (again, not literally).

I love the song, used to sing it all the time when I was a lil kid 😀

  3. Maya;do you know of any online pharmacies based in the UK where i can buy accutane?I know you’re not a fan of the accutane and that’s fine but i think it’ll be o.k to just buy the last month i need online when i’ve already been on it for over 5 months.I’m having trouble getting a follow-up appointment with the derm because it’s a different derm to the one i have, also the secretary seems to think i’ve had enough and that’s it whereas as i’ve researched that i need 120mg/kg of accutane overall to give me the best chance of the acne completely clearing and not coming back after treatment ,i need the last month to give me the overall amount i need.So any UK sites you know of where i can buy it,i would be grateful if you could tell me because it’ll take ages for them to be shipped,i think.

I think it’s illegal in the UK to sell prescription-only meds.

If you are really desperate, then this US site will deliver to UK http://www.rx2world.com/ but I don’t think it’s a good idea – also, very expensive.

Yeah, I’m not for accutane, but I guess you have been on it for a while… a suggestion – why not OD on vit A for an extra month? I think the toxic levels are 10,000 IU – so if you go for a dose slightly under that, in effect, you will have Accutane.

If you are having trouble with your derm – why not contact a Private derm? They will see you immediately and give you the prescription (at a high cost I expect) – it’s possible that you could juts phone them and explain to the receptionist your problem and ask them to quote to you a price, so you don’t have to waste time..

Alternatively – phone your GP – Take all the research you have that substansiates why you need an extra month – and ask him/her to write out the prescription, telling him/her that the new derm won’t give you what the old derm said he would give you (white lie)

    Sorry I couldn’t help more.

  5. Maya;i just looked up this post again because i remembered you telling me about the vitamin A.I’ve finished the roaccutane now and i’m wondering about taking vitamin A like as maintenence. How much should i take do you think because i want it to be enough to make a difference;maybe like a low dose of roaccutane;but maybe it’d be dangerous. What do you think? Thanks 🙂

that is not true. to see abit of results you’ll have to supplment with 30 000 UI of retinol a day which is just plain stupid.
