Monave make-up — no bismuth oxychloride

I just looked at the Monave website, and they have some interesting make-up there. They have an oil-free liquid foundation. Here are some ingredients listings from there:

Loose mineral foundation: mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, zinc oxide.

Loose mineral concealer: titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, micronized zinc oxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, mica, kaolin clay.

Oil-free Liquid Foundation: Purified Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Jojoba, Olive Esters, Alkyl Esters, Wheat Protein, Essential Oils.

Well, the oil-free does contain essential oils, but those don’t usually cause problems I don’t think. You know, I don’t see any ingredients in the oil-free that would provide any pigment (color), like iron oxides, etc. I wonder if the list is incomplete. I’m going to e-mail them.

  1. They said that the oil-free liquid foundation also contains the ingredients that are in the loose powder foundation.
