Loma Pearatin line of hair products

I am trying out a new line of hair products made by Loma, called Pearatin (shampoo, rinse-out conditioner and a leave-in conditioner). The lady who sold it to me said that doctors were recommending it for their patients who were undergoing chemo and radiation because the shampoo is sulfate free and is gentle and soothing. So far, I really love the products. They smell devine and are very moisturizing and don’t seem to be greasy or clogging to the skin. They contain a lot of natural ingredients. Time will tell if I develop an allergic reaction to them or not, though, because sometimes it takes a few weeks of use before I can know for sure. So far, so good though. The leave-in conditioner replaces styling gel because it gives some hold to the hair also.

I got them at the Natural Products 2000 store in Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley (it’s on Ventura in the Ross shopping center, on the north side of the street, east of Tampa). A really nice couple owns it (Mary and Martin) and Mary is very knowledgable about natural products in general. She’s a real sweetheart. Tell her that Lenore referred you.

  1. Can we get this online? Would they be good to dry scalp? Im getting dry scalp with this cold weather and its being hard to battle it. 8)

  2. I did see it available online somewhere. Do a search on “Loma Pearatin” and see what you come up with. I do think it would be good for dry scalp as it is very moisturizing. My scalp feels fine with it and so far I’m very pleased with it. As to it being non-comedogenic, I don’t know for sure, but it doesn’t seem to be causing me any problems at this time and it doesn’t feel too heavy, like some products that contain coconut oil derivatives and such. It does contain some oils, but I think they’re the non-comedogenic ones, like safflower oil. If you want me to type out the ingredients of the products, I could do that for you.
