What about large pores?

HI everyone!!! glad to be here finally!! 😀

Large pores is sometimes a consequence of having acne, I think, in my case at least, I have large pores in my cheeks and there is a difference with the rest of my skin which I want to fix.
I found out that tomato juice can help your pores to close a bit but I havn’t tried yet.
Do you guys know any other options that might work?

Thanks!!
I love this new forum!!! :wink

  1. Well, hello again! Nice to see you here.

Tell me your whole regimin now. Also, what are you using on your face?

I have been using Jojoba oil on my skin as a night time moisteriser, it seems to be smoothing my skin out a lot and I think it may help with the pores as well.

  2. Before using products that will minimize pores, be sure first that you unclog it or clear it up from the oils or blackheads and whiteheads.

It’s said that a diet rich in nourishing berries help the Scandinavian women maintain flawlessly smooth skin and almost invisible pores.

Strawberries are rich in polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants that help soothe the skin and help diminish the appearance of pores.

Look for an alcohol-free toner that contains concentrated strawberry extract to help remove excess oils and dirt on your face after cleansing, this will eventually lead to less obvious-looking pores.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Pantothenic acid shriks pores. Clears up acne too. search for it on the net and read the studies. search pantothenic acid and acne. Gotta take like 5-10 grams a day.

  4. Thanksss, I’ll look into them!

Maya, hi!! 😀 I have changed my diet a bit, eating much more vegetables, fruits and drinking more water. No more coke, candy and all that junk, but I can’t follow the blood type diet, there are too many things I HAVE to eat! I can’t resist myself :lol
I can’t avoid meat for example, specially here that it is all we eat. For my face I am using benzoyl peroxide 10% and my face is getting used to it! and some other thing with clyndamicin which dries them up pretty nice, I’m expecting some results in the future and in the meantime I’m seeing a new derm.
    How are you doing???

    Marilau
