Wally, did you know…

Hey Wally,
Did you know that oral Tretinoin (Accutane) is a treatment for leukemia?

Tretinoin (TRET-i-noyn) is a drug that is used to treat some kinds of leukemia. It is a capsule that you take by mouth.

Tretinoin is a slightly altered version of vitamin A. Topical tretinoin is available in cream, gel, and liquid forms to treat acne, other skin conditions, and some forms of skin cancer. Tretinoin is also available in oral capsules used to induce remission in people with acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Since Tretinoin and vitamin A are slightly, chemically different from each other they do not work exactily the same.

Wally, check out the web link for the really good links that are provided there. The word acne provides another link to a list of acne fighters that include guggul. I remember that you are interested in guggul and found it interesting that it was included here.
