  1. I use it and it has slowly smoothed out some rough areas. Have you been using it Mari?

  2. It’s good stuff – it gently sloughs off dead skin – also helps to restore PH levels on the skin. Good to use staright after cleansing as a toner – dilute it 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water.

  3. I have heard that using apple cider vinegar as a toner (diluted) and drinking water with a squeeze of lemon all day somehow works together to help heal acne scars. not sure why, but I have been doing this for about one month and have noticed a bit of a difference! If it burns your skin (vinigar) it’s not diluted enough. I have built a tolorance to where i don’t dilute it anymore but at first I used about 1:3

  4. I have a question,
I’ve been considering this and will start tomorrow (as i gotta a buy a bottle..lol) but I use emu oil and a cream now and love it soo much that I dont wanna stop using that…….would that be too much though?… I mean first I clear my face with my usual facial scrub…then use the vinegar water as a toner…..then emu oil….and then the emu oil based cream…. Too many things?? some1 plz tell me……

last question is, does this help with dry skin? as in, I get very dry skin (sometimes peeling) from my cheeks…would vinegar/water help? and does it help with existing, active pimples as well? or just scars? THank you in advance………… ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. OK hello everyone!! I’ve been using it for about a week and half now, and it working great!!!! I actually notice a decrease in the darkness of my spot (not a huge difference) but maybe by 15-20%…..and also it softens my skin :)! just wanted to share that ! Thanks a bunch Maya!

  6. where can you get apple cider vinegar? Anywhere? I’ve never heard of it. Should you just put it on dark spots/scars or allover as I would think, since you’re saying to use it like a toner…THANKS!

  7. DMBgrl – use it all over – dilute it first 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water – and use just like a toner, every day.

You can buy from health stores and prob normal stores too.

  8. no, apple cider vinegar is especially suited for the face, it’s not made for the face but it’s nature makes it very good for the face. other vinegars are WAY too strong and will burn your skin!

  9. I bought apple cider vinegar today at a health food store, there were a few choices so I guess I got one that should work, I guess any of them would. Besides just the different choices in brands, some said filtered and some not. Mine is not filtered, raw, organic, and says 5% acidity. I’m going to start using it tonight as a toner. Should this help fade red marks? That’s what I’m hoping for! THANKS! —Jodie— ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. yep it should…..my red marks used to take a looong time to fade (couple months), but now they’re getting lighter much faster…my acne is the kind that leaves spots behind, red/brown mards ๐Ÿ˜ก so I need something that’ld do the job, so as far as natural things are concerned, apple cider vinegar is great for that……

  11. That’s good news! THANKS! ๐Ÿ˜› Can I use this twice a day, that wouldn’t be too much or anything would it? Because I did last night and then this morning.

  12. so yeah I’m guessing this is ok to do, I have used it for 4-5 days now and can already tell a difference! ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. hey! sorry didn’t come back to this room to check out ur postings…sowwie!
ya I was using it twice a day too, I just got lazy now, and dont do it that much…but yep! that should b fine…wow! u already see a difference? I noticed that my marks arent as dark when I get a pimple…hmm it could be many things though…keep it up ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. You guys suckered me into this. lol. I bought that apple cider vinegar today, and forgot to dilute with water….OWWW…lol..Nah didn’t hurt that much. I diluted it, but it still felt the same. I hope this works, cause I just wanna get rid of those damn scars!

    Hey Raider!!
    ur english sounds excellent!!

well here’s what I did when I first started using the vinegar….I used 1 part of vinegar to 3 parts of water. So, for example, 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 3 tablespoons of water. I did this for about a week, until I felt comfortable with it (because it stings a little). I did this twice a day, if your skin is really sensitive, you may want to begin by using it once a day or something. Then the 2nd week, I used 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water (instead of 3). SO again, 1 tblspoon of vinegar to 2 tblespoon of water. Third week, I just used the vinegar straight on my face and thats what I still do to this day. My skin got used to it and its not bad at all. remember this is natural, and its an old, home remedy that a lot of people indeed use ๐Ÿ™‚ Its probably better you dilute it enough for few days, instead of diluting the whole thing. I just feel thats better. When I used to dilute it, it would go for couple days and then I would dilute it again. now, I just pour it in this tiny little jar, and use it straight from there ๐Ÿ™‚ as for your last question, its upto you, but Apple cider vinegar is GREAT as a toner, so feel free to use it all over your face, thats what I do. just use like a cotton pad or something and run it all over your face and neck.

I hope this helps you. Good luck!

  18. Tatum~I got my apple cider vinegar at a health food store and it was in the food section with the regular vinegar and I forget what else was around it, so in any other store I’m sure it would be in the food section, and not with any type of make-up. I’m sure you can just ask someone… ๐Ÿ˜€

  19. Okej thanks for the help..:]
I have some more questions if you have the time. ๐Ÿ™‚
    1. How often should i put the vinegar on my face?
    2. Should i clean my face / wash it before i use it? and should i use all of the 1 table spoon vinegar and 3 table spoons of water at the same time?
    3. Which time on the day should i use it? does it really mathers? some have said that i should use it 2 times / day and in that case should i take it in the mornings and in the evenings?

Sorry if some questions are dumb and stupid iยดm from Sweden maybe thats why.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Food section – salad dressings/ketchup/mayonnaise etc..

I love Swedish people so I will answer!

    1. Every morning and night after washing your face – leave it on and let it dry naturally (the smell will go after 20 minutes)
    2. It is easier to get a small bottle/jar and mix 1 part cider vinegar and 2-3 parts water, then shake each time. You can the either pore a little into your hand and just rub gently all over the face or use a cotton wool ball and wipe your face with it.
    3. It doesn’t matter, but morning and night is good.

  22. okej thanks for the help again..:]]
    one more thing only.. ๐Ÿ™‚
after one week or so should i stop dilute the vinegar with water and just put it on my face as it is? or is that bad for the face? and if it is so after how long should i stop diluting it? after one week? or should i start with 1/1 i mean half vinegar and half water? and after that week stop diluting it?

    Thanks for all!!

  23. ok so i have been using this for little over a week and I have noticed a decrease in the darkness or redness of marks, but should this help with the actual depth of scars, I only have a few shallow ones, so I was just curious, if any of you have experienced a change with this in particular, how long did it take? THANKS!

  24. i can say like this. The apple cider vinegar gives me acne..:/ but i will use it if someone can say that it helps against scars. And then i mean the actuall dept of the scars. ๐Ÿ˜€

Iยดm sorry if my english stinks as usuall..:]

  25. i broke out big time after using the apple cider vinegar, so i decided to stop using it, it did not really agree with me

  26. Finally! Someone answers my questions! Haha. I found that it broke me out abit, but not much. I stopped using it, and my skins fine. I don’t think i’ll try it again, no offence dudes, but it didn’t really work. I guess it depends on the person. But with you other peoples, good luck! hehe.

  27. I found that ACV adjusts to your skin over a period of time. At first, it might break you out (it did for me) so I weakened it with water. Over time, I could use it more and more concentrated and it wouldn’t cause any problems whatsoever. Heals the skin good once it adjusts so just bear with it.

  28. yep! it didn’t break me out…or I dont think it did as I constantly had breakouts at that time…but I started with 1 part of vinegar to 3 part water and slowly over about 2-3 weeks, I began using the full strength of it. and it wasn’t bad. Hmm! I dont know why it would break ppl out though..but if it did, it would make sense for it to happen only initially.
