I was just wondering where you can get the vitamin from. I’ve checked a couple places and no one carries it. Is it by prescription only…?

Has it truly worked for anyone??

  1. You can get it just about anywhere nowadays. In
    vitamin stores it is known as Pantothenic Acid.
    Check the label and look for D-Calcium Pantothenate
    and you’re all set.

    You’ll find that some clerks will not even know what
    B5 actually is, nevermind it’s effectiveness on acne.

    Online you can get some decent deals on capsules
    and tablets at http://www.VitaminShoppe.com
    (again, search for Pantothenic Acid and not B5).

  2. B5 has not worked for everyone but it seems that a large percentage have had good success with it. I base that only on what I have read through the acne forums…the B5 approach does not tend to be an accepted method of acne treatment by doctors/derms. So there is little to go by in way of clinical research. True results may be hard to identify.

    I have been doing B5 at 7-10 grams per day for the past 4 months. Mostly 10 g’s but some days I miss a dose so I get probably 7 g’s. It has been mildly effective for me, but I have adult acne (Im 43) and all the years of anti’s I’ve taken have probably made the effect harder to rate. I figure, for me, I need to give it more time.

    Like I said though, it seems like most poeple who try it have good results. Good luck to you if you decide to give it a go.


  3. I had about a 90% improvement with B5.. gotta space it out into like 4 doses during the day to truely absorb enough though :roll
