My Aromaleigh Pure Cover Mineral powder came yesterday (I had read about it on one of my haircare boards). It looks so much more natural than my Philosophy mineral powder. It’s nice and matte so I don’t have to put powder on over it. My Philosphy (and from what I’ve heard many mineral powders) have an odd shiny look to them if you don’t put powder on over it, and get oily during day if you don’t. Really nice coverage. $14 for .75 oz too – it’s actually cheaper than drugstore powders. Comes in a portable container too. I wore out it yesterday for several hours and needed to retouch it just a tiny bit when I came home..and it was hot out, and I was sweating, and it’s my bad skin week of the month…can’t wait to see my skin with it on next week. =) I always had a really bad time with liquid foundations. I bet a lot of you probably had the same issues too: either they broke me out or they were “oil controlling”, which meant they went on poorly and dried up on my skin during the day. And don’ even get me started on my experiences with separate sunblocks and sunblocking moisturizers..eeww (never found one that wasn’t horrendously greasy feeling). Isn’t mineral powder great.
