Uhm hi!
A simple, cheap, not yummy remedy: I live in Austria, Im 30 y old and I tried roaccutane, but fine, now, c.a. 10 years later, my liver hurts a bit because of a hemangiom, thanks roac. I suppose.

When I was a teen: My skin was bad, I went to parties and seldom talked to ladies. Haha. About 1999 the neighbour woman laughed and saw how … "ugly" ;) my face was. So she told me a countrymen remedy which should help: She simply said, I should eat/drink beetroot. I was skeptic because the neighbour was just a funny housewife from Carinthia. Jorg Haider*s fr Carinthia. God bless her. ;)

But I lurched to the food shop, fine..in Vienna beetroot salad was a bit expensive. Bottled juice, too. (for me) So I bought br fruits, peeled em, made a juice and looked at the miracle juice for quite a time. Then I drank one glass after each meal, as the neighbour told me. After about 3-4 days I began getting impatient, but the acne actually got weaker. It did not heal completely but it was much less agressive. And few new acne came out. Hm I hated the taste of br juice and still dislike it. And from the br I got quite often a kind of diarrhea and quite stomach pain. Shotgun crap ;) But acne got remarkably weaker. It seemed, it cleaned me from acne-toxins?? Even after some weeks, it did not disappear completely..sorry folks ;) dont sue me, please! But always, when I stopped drinking that boring juice, acne came slowly back aggressively.

So during approx. 1-2 years I drank hundreds of litres. I always messed around making juice. In autumn we bought hundreds of cheap br, and dig a hole in the earth and burried them by 10cm earth. And in cold winter I dug some of em out and they remained really fresh. During that time my acne was pretty much acceptable. After that 1-2 years even after I stopped drinking it, acne did not came back THAT aggressively. I am talking about common bad acne, not about biiig antibiotica resistent staphil. aureus bubonics ;o) Maybe br salad helps, too?

Well, in the face I dunhave acne now, jost dozens of small bitchy ones on my back. But thats another never ending story…That was it! GBye fr. ice Vienna! :crazyeyes

    Stephen Nottingham states:

Cultivated forms of Beta vulgaris have been utilized for their medicinal properties since ancient times. Beetroot has long been considered beneficial to the blood, the heart, and the digestive system. It has been regarded as a laxative; a cure for bad breath, coughs and headaches; and even as an aphrodisiac. More recently, it has been advocated as a cancer preventative and as a means of bolstering the immune system. Beetroot is rich in many important minerals and micronutrients; it is a nutritious vegetable with many health-giving properties. This chapter examines the medicinal and nutritional benefits of eating beetroot

This is interesting about beet root, and worth the time for anyone suffering with acne to look into.

Gumbo, since the beet root flushed out toxins from your gut, and your face cleared up it makes me think that you are suffering from an allergy to something you are eating.
Do you eat fast food where you live?
Cottonseed flour/cottonseed oil in junk food/fast food/breads will cause skin problems in some people.

Check to see if you are eating cottonseed oil/cottonseed flour in anything, and stop eating that food.

It takes at least 3 weeks for the system to adjust, and the skin to stop breaking out after stopping cottonseed/cottonseed oil.

This is not the answer for everyone with skin problems but it is the answer for many people.
