Hi all

I started to use Miracle II gel 5 days ago and it is amazing. OK, not a makeup product but great to use under makeup.

There’s a weird religious story/background to this product – I’m not religious, and I don’t care for the science now because I can just say WOW!

I bought an 8oz (it will last for ages!!) bottle off ebay for $9 plus shipping.

Since using it day and night after washing my face, my face has been the mattest it’s ever been – really smooth too. No more oily t-zone! If your face is very dry, you could apply your normal moisteriser over, but I haven’t felt the need to moisterise since using this product.

I had a heat rash on my arm, after applying this gel, it went overnight!

Although there’s no mentioning about hair use, I rubbed a small amount into my hair when it was nearly dry and WOW!! It’s made my frizzy hair lose the frizz and added shine. All the dryness in my hair created by heat and colour is gone. This stuff rocks!

There’s no stickiness to this product, it smooths into the face almost immediately. There’s no smell either. It’s made of oxygenated water plus organic minerals and electrolytes.

This is my best buy in several years, and I’m delighted that it’s dirt cheap!

I bought a sample size of something called “The Master’s Miracle Neutralizer Gel” when I went to a health expo. This is what I found on the Internet for the ingredients:

    The Master’s Miracle Neutralizer Gel

Fight the aging process by reducing fine lines and wrinkles with the Master’s Miracle Neutralizer Gel. An effective skin-repair gel that may also promote speedy recoveries from minor cuts, burns and sore muscles. This product may also fight the aging process by reducing fine lines and wrinkles!

    Ingredients:
Electrically engineered eloptic energized stabilized oxygenated water, calcium, potassium, magnesium (carbopol) 940, and ash of dedecyl solution.

I found this ingredients listing online for the Miracle II Neutralizer Gel:

INGREDIENTS: Prayer – Electrically engineered eloptic energized stabilized oxygenated water – Ash of Dedecyl solution – Calcium – Potassium – Magnesium (Carbopol) 90.

These are the same ingredients but in a different order. I also got samples of a wash and a moisturizer. I tried using it a couple of times, but didn’t find the moisturizer to be very moisturizing. I saved the neutralizer to use on cuts and such. I haven’t really used it much. The soap and liquid neutralizer can also be used for household cleaning, like dishwashing. That’s what I ended up using them for — I think I found the soap to be a bit stripping for my dry skin.

I’ll give it a try on my frizzy, bushy hair Maya. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Lenore, yes, I believe the product goes under both those names.

I don’t think it’s a cure all for acne (since I do belive it’s an internal thing) but it has cured my frizzy hair!!

Thanks for the posts, ladies. I became intrigued by Maya’s first post here and also went to the website. I also did other online searches about the product. Lenore also shared her experience w/ me. In the online search, I saw several blogs which post all the uses for which people claimed the product had worked (from cancer to arthritis to skin conditions to eye ailment cures to digestive aid to …. ). I have a hard time believing it’s a panacea.

But I guess if it’s working out for specific uses, that’s great.

    Thanks again.
    Roxy.

From what I understand Roxy, it’s very alkalising, so anyone with a highly acid skin/body might benefit.

BTW, Maya, my hair is feeling really soft and silky from the hair products I got from Botanical Skin Works (www.botanicalworks.com). I gave a review on the main board (probably not where I should have put it). Her skin care looks really interesting too. I was told that helichrysum oil is really good for acne. Ever heard of it?

  6. Maya added:

    Hi Lenore

I hadn’t heard of helichrysum but googled this on it: http://www.aromathyme.com/helichrysum-essential-oil.htm

Skin Care: Add two to three drops of Helichrysum to your favorite skin care products. It has remarkable effects on sensitive and inflamed skin. More anti-inflammatory than German Chamomile, more tissue regenerating than Lavender, more cicatrisant (helping the formation of scar tissue) than Frankincense.

Old Scars: A combination of Everlasting (Helichrysum) and Sage Will help old scars and slow healing wounds. Apply 3-6 months for old scars or 2x/day for 10 days on recent wounds.

Everlasting (Helichrysum) 1 ml Sage 1 ml Rose Hip seed oil 15 ml (1/2 oz.) Hazelnut il 15 ml (1/2 oz.)

Use Helichrysum for: Wounds and scar tissue – Helichrysum is the oil of choice for healing scar tissue, whether from a recent wound, operation, or tissue that has been scarred for years. It stops bleeding, helps a scab to form and tissue to repair itself. It can be added to a carrier oil and applied to stretch marks, acne scars, surgical scars, and wounds of all kinds.

Sounds too good to be true :D

Maya, I read somewhere that redheads (which I am) tend to have more acidic skin.

  8. Maya added:

    Hi Lenore

Andreas Moritz says that redheads are all ‘Pitta’ ayurvedic types and are the most prone to acne and most affected by poor diet choices and.

Still, I have seen redheads have the most beautiful pale skin.

Hey Maya, remember me from the old board??? Its Tara! HOw are you? After reading your post about the Miracle II gel I decided to order some. I too am cursed with the frizzies, but only when its humid out which is about 90% of the time where I live. In winter it does a bit better. I thought I’d give it a shot. Found a 22 oz bottle on ebay for $11.75. Is this supposed to be like a moisturizer too? How is your skin doing by the way. Mine is clear now, but i get a pimple or two every couple months still….no biggie. I have found that if I take Acidophilus 3 times daily (AT LEAST 100 mg with every meal) I no longer break out and can eat whatever I want…its so nice. That has pretty much been my cure. Very simple and cheap! :D Hope things have been going well for you!

    Tara

    Hi Tara

How nice to hear from you! Of course I remember you, are you still doing the tape method?

Yes, the miracle gel is meant for the face/body (It’s mattyfying so good for people with greasy skin), but I thought I’d try applying it to my hair when it was still a little wet, and it really did help to smooth it. I also apply it a couple of times a day on humid days and it seems to calm it down without the need for chemicals!

My skin is doing well in terms of acne freedom (still have some pitted scars that I’m working on though) – and I also take bioacidophillus in capsule form occasonally, but am making my own grape juice kefir which creates good bacteria.

Hope all is great with you and your family.

Hey Maya. I just got the Miracle II today and tried it on my hair and it really did make a huge difference. My hair was MUCH smoother than usual and felt VERY soft. I was doing a little search on the net though to read more about it and came across this article that kinda scared me a bit

    http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ahc-asc/media/advisories-avis/2005/2005_86_e.html

Could be nothing, but does have me a bit concerned. I may not use it on my skin and definitely won’t be ingesting it. I got the liquid by the way, not the gel so I just put some in a spray bottle and sprayed it on my hair. BTW, does yours have a faint odor to it? Mine smells a smidge like mildew, but that could just be one of the ingredients in it. I am about to email the lady I bought it from on ebay and ask her if thats normal.

Yes, I am still doing the scotch tape method, but not every day…only 3 times a week or so because my skin doesn’t get dry and flakey anmore like it used to.

  12. Maya added:

    Hi Tara

There doesn’t seem to be any substanciated (sp?) evidence that it would be bad for anyone, I guess somethings without scientific research are always under scrutiny. Still, if you do a search on CureZone http://www.curezone.com lots of people use it and it seems to help them.

No, mine has no smell (or maybe I don’t have a good sense of smell!)

As far as I am aware, the Miracle II products are mainly minerals plus water.

I did have the liquid and I had had several days of having a very sore eye once, and wearing contact lenses did not help. Nothing I put on my lenses helped eased my eye soreness or the pain, so one night, I soaked the lens in the Miracle II liquid and my eye fully recovered .. it was pretty good!

  13. SSTLK added:

Yeah, you are probably right about how a lot of products like this are under scrutiny. I actually threw caution to the wind last night and went ahead and sprayed it all over my face before bed and when I woke up my face was not an oil slick like it normally is, but rather very soft and matte feeling. I will put it on today under my makeup and see how it keeps my oil at bay. That would be soooooo awesome if I could use it to control oil cause that is really my only complaint these days. I will check out that website you mentioned. I think I may order the gel in a few days if the liquid seems to do the job just because I thought I saw that the gel was more powerful than the liquid.

  14. Maya added:

The gel is very mattyfying. My skin’s normal these days so I don’t need to mattyfy it, but when I’ve put some on my skin, it dries in an instant, I’m sure it can help with greasy skin.

I think the liquid is mainly for internal use, it’s meant to help detoxify the body.
